iTwin the easier remote file access system

With increasing use of computers for various kinds of tasks, data potability is increasingly becoming an essential need. Most of us now use a desktop at home a laptop for personal work and may be another computer at workplace, school etc. Many a times it so happens that we feel the need to access a particular file which might be on another computer. The most common solution for the this is to store such files on portable drive. Portable drives have size limitations and can be easily corrupted lost or stolen so the security is a bit of a concern.
Another option is the use of remote file access software or storing files on a cloud service or a server. These services are not always free, most of them are subscription based. On the other hand files travel on 3rd party servers which are not in your control. They can be compromised and security of data cannot be said to be a 100%. Also you have to spend so much time uploading files and configuring devices.
If security and availability of data is very important for you then the solution for it is the iTwin which is a simpler solution to the problem, flash drive-like sticks that plug into either computers, and let them communicate for free over a secure internet connection.

Celluon evoMouse the evolution of the computer mouse.

Since the invention of the modern personal computer the essential and most used input device the mouse has barely undergone a major design change. Although there have been a good amount of minor design changes and a wide variety of options none of them proved to be quite appealing in the market. The classic design still rules. Last year we covered a prototype project by Pranav Mistry called the Invisible mouse . It was a setup which tracked hand movement and gestures to control the cursor on the computer screen. It actually liberates you for holding a mass of plastic which is also responsible for a wide variety of wrist and hand related ailments.
If you are among the ones who were pretty amazed by the invisible mouse, I found that there is actually a piece of hardware named the 'evoMouse' which does the same. The evoMouse was unveiled at CES 2010, probably did not catch a lot of media coverage. Its from a South Korea based company called Celluon.

The Magic W3: A handheld computer thats also a phone

Recent advancements in mobile processor technology has led to a plethora of devices which have started to blur the lines between computers and smartphones. The LG Optimus 2X  is one good example of such a device. Major processor manufacturers are trying to make processors smaller and more energy efficient so as to satisfy the needs of the emerging mobile and tablet device market. All that means is a win win for the consumer, more choices.
